Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D1178P01 and is part of the LOGISTICS, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. Responsibilities As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, you will function as the logistics manager of the organization and to serve as the organizational Property Book Officer (PBO) responsible for routine accomplishment and oversight of property accountability functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted, Warrant SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Must have experience developing, implementing, and evaluating the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization. Experience in logistics and property book operations. Must have experience in analyzing and/or preparing the logistics and equipment readiness areas of the organizational readiness report. Experience in being responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination and supply management. Experience in maintaining property book accountability utilizing an automated system and/or related computer programs to account for property. Experience in assuring that all authorized property is on hand or has been requisitioned to assist in maintaining the highest level of readiness for the organization. Education If you are using Education to qualify for this position, Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. You must provide a copy of Official Transcripts as documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
