About the Role

You want to gain professional experience on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) alongside your studies? At Magna Powertrain, we offer exactly this opportunity. You will gain practical experience and get to know a globally operating company during your education. In this role, you will support our global marketing team at the Lannach site with the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing and project-based website and digital marketing activities (setting up sites, content updates, marketing automation, handling translations of content)

  • Assist with digital marketing activities in alignment with Magna Powertrains strategy, creating and tailoring content to external channels in various formats, such as articles, videos etc.

  • Support with local and European events and product demos, including planning, coordination of internal stakeholders, documentation of events etc.

  • Coordinate Magna’s exhibition models located in Lannach and support with various onsite tasks (purchase orders, production and handling of merchandising, registration of guests and logistics for onsite events)

  • Other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for

  • Professional experience working with marketing & communications, including event management considered an asset

  • Good communication skills, with ability to interface with various levels of the organization

  • Great work ethic with strong motivation and aptitude towards the highest level of quality

  • Open-minded and organized team player

  • High level usage of MS Office programs, and flexibility/motivation to use new software programs

Your preferred qualifications

  • Enrolment to university or University of Applied Science in the field of marketing, event management, communications, or similar disciplines

  • High level of written and spoken English and German. Additional languages are a plus

It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive remuneration package. The gross annual salary (for 38.5 hours) according to the collective agreement of the automotive industry is at least € 2.548,82 (14 x p.a.) for this position. Overpayment based on relevant experience and qualifications is common practice.
