Sealing Devices Inc. Laminator/Material Handling in Lancaster, New York

In this role you will follow customer specifications and Sealing Device policies and procedures to use a variety of materials, silicone, rubber, pour on plastic and priming or applying Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA) using the Tarp laminator or by hand.

  • Adjust machines and material use based on job specifications and previously run data.
  • Measure and perform a thickness check.
  • Cuts material according to customer specifications designated on the router.
  • Prime and prepare material before lamination process.
  • Apply pressure sensitive adhesive using a tarp laminator or by hand.
  • Load and unload various materials into laminating machine.
  • Record material usage & time usage on router.
  • Follow procedures to deduct material from the inventory software system.
  • Print traveling labels.
  • Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.
  • Any other task or activity assigned by supervisor within the scope of the fabrication system.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary range for this role is $19/hour or more based upon experience.

Experience

Required
  • 1 - 2 years: Machine operation experience.

Education

Required
  • High School or better
