Robert Half Staff Accountant in Lakewood, Colorado
Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the advertising industry. The position is located in LAKEWOOD, Colorado, United States, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. Your role will also involve preparing journal entries and closing the books at the end of each month. Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate
• Prepare and input journal entries as required
• Ensure month-end close procedures are completed accurately and on time
• Effectively utilize NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in daily operations. Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the advertising industry.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Applicants should be capable of performing bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is mandatory.
• Candidates should have experience with creating and managing Journal Entries.
• Applicants must be comfortable with handling Month End Close procedures.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle accounting software is desirable.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a beneficial skill.
• Candidates with experience in SAP will have an advantage.
