Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in LAKEWOOD, Colorado. Our team operates within the legal industry, focusing on areas such as estate planning and probate law. As a Paralegal, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and effective case management in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Aderant and other case management software to manage and organize cases
• Use Adobe Acrobat and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) for document creation and management
• Administer claims and handle billing functions using CompuLaw
• Prepare and brief cases for attorneys, providing essential support for probate litigation
• Manage calendars and schedules, ensuring all case-related appointments and deadlines are met
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Perform estate planning and probate & estate administration tasks
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and promptly
• Maintain precise customer credit records and monitor accounts for necessary actions. Requirements • Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience working as a Paralegal.
• Proficiency in using Aderant is required.
• Candidates must have experience working with Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is essential.
• Applicants must have experience using Case Management Software.
• Proficiency in CompuLaw is a must.
• Applicants should be adept at handling Billing Functions.
• Experience in Briefing is required.
• Candidates must be capable of managing Calendars effectively.
• Claim Administration skills are necessary.
• Strong Communication skills are a vital requirement.
• Familiarity with Estate Planning is a must.
• Candidates should have experience in Probate.
• Experience in Probate & Estate Administration is required.
• Knowledge of Probate Law is a must.
• Applicants should have experience in Probate Litigation.
