Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic pet sales team. This newly created role will be pivotal in providing essential administrative and operational support to our sales team, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of sales activities. Responsibilities and Accountabilities Business Planning & Analyses Assist manager with administrative needs of business: customer contracts, new item set up, cost changes, internal/external audit resolution, deduction and reclaim management, etc. Support promotional planning and maintenance/troubleshooting in the Trade Planning System Supports sales needs for annual business and joint planning processes Strengthen Customer Planning & Relationships Develop a strong understanding of customer business strategies, systems, and resources to support the sales team with a focus on continual improvement Industry events registration, scheduling, and tracking Accelerate Team Performance Support coordination for sales team HQ business reviews or customer meetings Support invoicing/payment processing, supplier setups Support ongoing special project work, product samples, office supply needs, etc. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree Experience 2 years of business experience is required; Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is strongly preferred Expense entry and management experience are strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skillset strongly preferred PowerPoint experience putting data and graphs into presentation-ready formats Other Characteristics Strong desire to learn & succeed Self-motivated, organized, and has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities Excellent oral & written communication skills Work Location: In-office (Lakeville, MN) with a hybrid work schedule #LI-hybrid
