Midwest Veterinary Supply Inc Credit and Accounts Receivables Associate in Lakeville, Minnesota
Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a Credit and Accounts Receivables Associatefor our Lakeville, Minnesota corporate office. Job Summary: Take incoming customer calls and assist in processing and posting ACH and Credit Card payments according to the directive of our customers with absolute accuracy and with respect to security risks involved with the handling of customer's credit card data. Assist Credit Team with Customer Credit Holds in accordance with company policies and procedures. Make outbound collection calls consistent within Midwest's Collections guidelines. This position will also back up other essential AR & Credit positions in the event, fellow team members are out of the office. Essential Job Functions: Take incoming customer calls and process credit card payments or ACH payments as requested. Assist Credit & Collections Team with calling customers with delinquent account balances. Assist Credit & Collections Team with releasing customer orders held due to credit concerns. Assist Credit & Collections Team with handling of our Corporate Account Sector of Business. Assist Accounts Receivables with Approving Customer's Payment Vouchers. Job Requirements & Qualifications: Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. A two-year associate's degree or equivalency is preferred. A minimum of two years of Accounts Receivables and Credit experience is preferred. A working knowledge of general accounts receivable principles. Experience working in a Credit environment. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals. Basic computer skills, ability to operate a Windows-based computer and data entry. Ability to work accurately with numbers and highly detailed information. Experience using Microsoft Office programs, especially a level of proficiency using Outlook and Excel. Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask. Must be flexible, open-minded, self-motivated and able to work independently. Mental & Physical Demands: Attention to detail to assure accuracy of amounts and invoices in question Frequent deadlines must be met requiring a fast pace of work Regular contact with the customers, sales teams and other Midwest department personal. Continuous and sometimes rapid writing and use of a computer keyboard Continuous use of a monitor Frequent use of a telephone - listening and speaking Ability to work at a desk throughout the day Job duties and requirements may be subject to modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. Work Environment: Work is typically performed Monday through Friday in a hybrid environment and may require overtime.
