Robert Half Billing Clerk in Lake Elsinore, California
Description We are in search of a Billing Clerk to join our team in Lake Elsinore, California. In this role, you will be working within the construction industry, focusing on tasks such as AIA billing and lien releases. This position requires advanced skills in Excel, including working with data and formulas. You will be reporting to the Bookkeeper and interacting with Project Managers, though this role does not involve any direct reports.
Responsibilities:
• Work within a tight-knit team to blend and contribute to the overall function
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to work with data and formulas
• Manage aspects of accounting, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Handle AIA billing and lien releases within the construction industry
• Use Sage 300 software for various tasks (previous experience with any software is sufficient)
• Maintain a friendly and cooperative personality to fit into a small, family environment
• Showcase strong overall computer skills, demonstrating quickness and the ability to multi-task
• Work onsite with flexibility in hours
• Utilize Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
Skills:
• Experience with Billing, Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, AIA Billing, Construction Accounting, Sage Software Requirements • Possesses expertise in Billing operations
• Proficient in using Pivot Table
• Skilled in VLOOKUP operations
• Has experience with AIA Billing
• Knowledgeable in Construction Accounting
• Familiar with Sage Software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
