Job Description The Senior Security Engineer role will design and implement security applications, services and processes that secure and support the Bremer organization. This role is responsible for providing security and technical insights as it relates to IT operations, security and performance of cloud resources, directory services, network security, and other technology security platforms within Bremer. This individual will have knowledge and experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Domain Infrastructure, Cloud technologies, specifically AWS Security Services and Microsoft Office 365. Essential Functions Research, designs, and advocates modern technologies, designs and security products that will support security control requirements. Work with the team that builds and operates technologies in the following areas: Vulnerability and Compliance Management Device Security Management and Monitoring Directory Services Configuration Encryption Strategies and Services Incident Response and Cyber Defense AWS Security Services O265 Security/Purview/Defender Maintain and publish process documentation for security controls within system or solution. Work well within a small and large team environment. Collaborate with internal and cross functional teams. Establishes and builds relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership. Works closely with Audit, Risk Management and Compliance departments to maintain a secure, dependable, and accountable environment. Develop operational metrics to support organization KPIs. Maintain and publish process documentation for security controls within system or solution. Work well within a small and large team environment. Collaborate with internal and cross functional teams. Establishes and builds relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership. Works closely with Audit, Risk Management and Compliance departments to maintain a secure, dependable, and accountable environment. Develop operational metrics to support organization KPIs. QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and minimum 5 years related professional experience or a total of 10 years relevant experience (i.e., information technology security experience) in lieu of the degree. Relevant Security and Cloud Certifications preferred. Detailed understanding of Security threat landscape and tools and processes to prevent, detect and respond to these threats. Expert level experience working with Microsoft technologies and Cloud Services. Demonstrated organizational, leadership, communications, documentation, and project management skills. Ability to be agile and manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects. Broad knowledge of business process including disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management.
