Join Trane Technologies as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse, WI. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements. You will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs.

Where is the work:

This position will be onsite each day in La Crosse, WI and is safety-sensitive.

What you will do:

  • Develops quality and manufacturing process concepts for new designs and existing product changes.

  • Provide manufacturing engineering support for special engineered products.

  • Review engineering designs confirming manufacturing capability or sourcing capability.

  • Create product and PFMEA (Process FMEAs) to drive control plant development.

  • Review engineering changes to existing products to determine effects on current manufacturing processes; update processes and documentation to support viable changes.

  • Determine effects of process and product changes on tooling, CNC programming and other methods of manufacture.

  • Recommend and justify requests for capital; analyze and evaluate production capacities and resource requirements for each project.

  • Drive project speed and measurable results on schedule and budget.

  • Take responsibility for all communication between manufacturing, product engineer, and marketing on project status.

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering discipline preferred)

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience

• Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.

• Communication skills to articulate voice of the customer.

• Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $110,000-$130,000.

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
