The Role: Data Governance Senior Specialist

The Team:

The CRM Data Governance team is responsible for the comprehensive operational management and continuous enhancement of our practices and strategies. Our goal is to provide stakeholders with timely, reliable, high-quality, and context-rich data. The team's primary areas of focus are Data Quality and Governance.

The Impact:

Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the team's data. You will be responsible for creation, maintenance, and quality control, ensuring that the information used for analysis and decision-making is reliable. Your attention to detail will help prevent errors and inconsistencies, supporting the team's overall efficiency and productivity. Additionally, you will handle routine tasks and administrative duties, freeing up senior members to focus on strategic activities and project direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control and Management: Regularly check, clean, and verify data to prevent errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies. Support data management best practices, including identifying and merging duplicate accounts or contacts, and linking child accounts to their ultimate parent accounts.

  • Support Data Governance Initiatives: Assist in the implementation of data governance programs and practices, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and standards.

  • Support Data-Driven Projects: Contribute to cross-organizational projects by providing data support, ensuring consistency, and facilitating the re-use of data assets.

  • Assist in Risk Management: Support governance and risk management efforts related to AI and Generative AI by following protocols and assisting in monitoring activities.

  • Participate in Training and Development: Engage in training sessions and learning opportunities to understand the value of data and improve data handling skills.

  • Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback on data processes and suggest improvements to enhance data governance and operational efficiency.

  • Flexibility: Be flexible and available to work on weekends and holidays if required to meet project deadlines and operational needs.

  • You will be working in EMEA hours

What We’re Looking For:

  • Quality first mindset with a strong background and experience with developing products for a global audience at scale.

  • Strong communication skills at all levels, written and verbal.

  • Good knowledge of Salesforce CRM suite (Sales/Service/Einstein)

  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel will be a plus point

  • Informatica or any other experience in Data Management tool will be a plus.

  • Salesforce Admin certification is a good to have.

  • Certification or knowledge in data management and governance best practices (ie: DAMA DMBOK or EDM DCAM) desirable.
