Finance Analyst - IA&R
About the Role
The Financial Analyst - IA&R roleis responsiblefor Real Estate accounting, including financial reporting, cash management activities for client mandates. Main responsibilities include performing transactional services and administration support to Hong Kong and Australia team
What You'll Do
Manage AP process and effect payments/disbursements
Prepare bank reconciliations and relevant cash reporting e.g. cashflow
Prepare other administrational support to the Hong Kong team such as FX upload, maintaining sorts of internal register (e.g. banking register) and internal compliance reports, etc as necessary
Support the team on booking accounting journals for holding companies/ holding trusts (SPVs) and property trusts (Prop cos), including preparation of all accounting entries and preparation of monthly financial reports
Draft annual audited financial statements, as needed
Upload financial data to Yardi and perform checking of the uploaded data
Communicate to data aggregation team
Respond to Hong Kong/Australia team’s queries and other ad hoc requests received from clients
What You'll Need
Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or any related area
Preferably with at least 1 year of working experience
Time management, able to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Analytical, organized and attention-to-detail
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in English
Mandarin/Cantonese speakers will be an added advantage as this position will be liaising with Greater China stakeholders
