Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in product design or UX.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

  • Experience leading design projects.

  • Experience working with executive leaders.

As a UX Engineer, you'll work as part of a UX team in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You’ll demonstrate your creativity, analytical skills, and knowledge of user facing technologies to create prototypes that identify the best product experiences, launch innovative features, build tools that accelerate UX teams, bridge between design and engineering discussions, and enable efficient, high quality execution.

The Privacy Sandbox initiative aims to create technologies that both protect people's privacy online and give companies and developers tools to build thriving digital businesses. Our team is dedicated to strengthening the Web and Android platform against tracking and fingerprinting, while also developing new privacy-preserving APIs to support personalization and measurement on the web. We are committed to collaborating with stakeholders in the industry to develop and implement viable, alternative solutions in a way that protects the privacy of users while also ensuring the continued vitality of the web.

  • Influence stakeholders across functions to gain support for design strategies.

  • Drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.

  • Drive a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products.

  • Drive design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes.

  • Provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for product ideation and/or user research/testing.
