BorgWarner Inc. System Test Engineering Supervisor in Krakow, Poland
The Systems Test Engineering Team Supervisor will be leading team of Systems Test Engineers and System Automation Test Engineers to ensure the system qualification processes and activities are completed for the all assigned projects. This person will lead and participate in the definition of the activities for the qualification of system requirements and collaborate with the hardware and software teams throughout product development process, including setting up, troubleshooting, and testing on electrification products.
Key responsibilities
Managing Systems Test Engineers and system qualification activities
Accountable for developing system qualification test strategy
Responsible to oversee/perform Systems functional testing & prepare results
Supporting customer interface for any System qualification issues along with System Test Lead
Responsible for Performance Review for all the Team members reporting
Participate in Peer Reviews of System Integration & Qualification Strategy and Test Specifications
Interface and support System Integration Test Engineers and System Test Automation Engineers
Participate in Test Spec Defect Process
Supporting the hiring and Interview the candidates
Creating/Maintaining Defect Tracking Process across all the project
Process adherence across all the PDS projects against ASpice Levels
Supporting any Audits on the Project for all levels of testing
Supporting Bench definition/configuration required for Testing
C reating and executing test cases on the relevant benches
What we’re looking for
Engineering degree in Electric, Electronic, Mechatronics, or similar. Master’s degree in related technical field preferred.
Have 5 or more years’ of experience as Systems/SW Test Leader or supervisor position.
Experience of writing and deploying Test process across the Organization.
Ability to routinely work in a hands-on manner required
Ability to work under limited supervision
Must be highly aware and adhere to high voltage safety standards and procedures
Experienced in Writing Test specification on Requirements as well as Designs.
Experience of different Type of Test Generation Methodology.
Experienced in Executing Tests on different test environments e.g. Vehicle, HV, Bench, HIL.
DSpace/NI/CAN Tool experience (CANstress, CANoe etc.).
Experience in Defect Tracking Process Tools.
Understanding of Automotive Spice and all Test Levels.
Understanding of ALM/PLM requirement management Tools.
Fluency in English is required. German would be an advantage
Travel 10% required, domestic and international
