We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Data and AI Development team is looking for enthusiastic and talented Back-End Developer to join us. Our services, including Db2, belong to the Data & AI product portfolio. Our services are tightly integrated with IBM Cloud Pak for Data where customers can access a suite of leading data and AI capabilities in a unified experience.
You are a Back-End Developer, who will design, develop, maintain, and support complex product components, and integrate software packages and programs on multiple platforms.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
8+ years of software development experience
Expertise with languages including C and C++, SQL, and Perl or Python is required
Experience and comfort in Linux/UNIX development environments is required
Experience writing / executing unit and functional tests
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and database technologies
An understanding of container technologies including Docker or Podman, and Linux operating systems
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong sense of ownership of deliverables
Demonstrated communication skills and should be a good team player
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

Experience and working knowledge of version control systems such as Git and GitHub, as well as tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, Tekton, and Maven would be an asset
