Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Project Manager to join our Equipment Deployment team. In this role, you will lead global projects, ensuring successful execution and deployment of equipment worldwide.

Core Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be driving production equipment / line deployment projects globally: you will prepare deployment project time plans, ensure resource alignment, load and allocation, ensure and manage deployment manuals.

More over, you will:

  • Deal with suppliers, internal / external partners and steering committees, define and coordinate deployment teams

  • Actively handle deployment project risks and opportunities towards desirable outcome for the company

  • Identify process and project areas suitable for optimization which would make us stronger and more efficient

  • Enjoy extensive travelling across our manufacturing sites (e.g. Vietnam, Virginia) with your teammates and be their support there, ensuring everything needed for smooth installations is in place and on time

Our Research & Development, Packing and Packaging organization (R&D P&P) is located in Billund, DK and Kladno, CZ and consists of bunch of enthusiasts with innovative approach who assure our LEGO® products are assembled and packed into newly developed sustainable packaging in the most efficient way. Deliver sustainable packaging is currently our no1 priority. Our team has a global responsibility for all packing equipment, and we lead projects with partners across all LEGO production site.

R&D Platform Deployment team is entirely located in Kladno and is globally responsible for installation of newly introduced packing platforms and support of packing equipment development.

Do you have what it takes?

  • You have technical background from Manufacturing, technical knowledge about equipment/machines

  • You are experienced in leading international projects

  • You enjoy business travelling, you can quickly become oriented in foreign countries and be real support to your teammates abroad

  • You are strong and confident in communication across the whole company with colleagues on different levels, including e.g. mechanics or senior directors

  • You speak proficient Czech and English, other languages are an advantage

  • University degree in technical field is preferred

  • You are interested in innovations and modern technologies
