Hours and Location:
This pharmacy serves the local community Monday through Friday from 9:00 am. to 6:00 p.m. We are located at 324 N. Queen St., Suite A Kinston, NC 28501. Enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere. This pharmacy is located in the Inglewood neighborhood and works in partnership with Heartland health to benefit the entire community. This is a great opportunity to give back.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you’ll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of the specialty disease state of 340B, HIV, Hepatitis and other specialty disease states.
Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

What You’ll Bring:
Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of North Carolina.
Maintain continuing education requirements as part of pharmacist license maintenance.
A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements.
Two to Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.
One to Two years of experience in pharmacy management preferred.
One year working with patient management program.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
