About the Role:
As a CBRE Electrical Engineer, you will provide design and engineering support for power, energy, and infrastructure projects.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
Support projects focusing on power distribution, substations, and transformers with a remarkably new way.
Develop comprehensive reports, cost estimates, and detailed design diagrams for flawless execution.
Review power system studies, including arc flash analysis, grounding, and electrical disturbance investigations to support world-class safety standards.
Collaborate with operational teams and SMEs to strictly adhere to safety protocols and improve system reliability.
Recommend and successfully implement safety improvements while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and laws.
Review and provide feedback about all aspects of the installation of electrical panels, MCCs, switchgears, and emergency generators.
Ensure rapid response to electrical emergencies with a driven and proactive approach.
Cultivate and share your proven expertise in electrical engineering to mentor team members and elevate project outcomes.

Engage with collaborators and customers to clarify complex information and build agreement on ambitious project goals.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of proven experience in power systems.
Expertise in power systems, including transformers, substations, and switchgear is critical.
Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and control systems is highly valued for industrial settings.
A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy loads.
Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize information from different sources.
A proven track record of innovative thinking and a willingness to challenge conventional solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Solid ability to coordinate tasks effectively and a curious approach to foster ongoing improvement and achieve outstanding outcomes.
