1. DUTIES

    

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparation and analysis of client workpapers and documents.
• Preparation of corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual Federal, State and local tax returns.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly bookkeeping duties.
• Tax projections and planning, including gaining a basic understanding of tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
• Assist and management with preparation for client meetings and client communication, participating when appropriate.
• Actively pursue professional development activities.
• Set individual goals that support departmental and firm goals.
• Utilize bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Assist with technology questions and troubleshooting as necessary.
• 1099 reporting and e-filing.

• Research tax related issues.

   

Requires occasional travel to Columbus, OH.

1. REQUIREMENTS

    

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, MIS, or a related field.
• Requires CPA.
• Requires the following special skills or requirements:
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Office and QuickBooks required.
    • Tax software.
    • Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards
  • Experience with various office technologies and management information systems, including:
    • Drake Tax; Drake Accounting; Adobe; Microsoft Office; QuickBooks Desktop; QuickBooks Online; Microsoft Teams; Ring Central
