The Role
Seeking a meticulous Drafting Intern to assist with various tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and documentation within the Engineering team, ensuring adherence to CAD standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will optimize team productivity, uphold professional integrity, and possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant best practices and procedures. Responsible for timely completion of assigned work tasks while maintaining efficient file management and readiness to fulfill additional duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Support Engineering Department with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry and documentation.
- Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity.
- Knowledge of all relevant best practices and procedures.
- Ensure work tasks are completed on time.
- Maintain CAD standards and specifications.
- File management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pursuit of certificate, Associate's or Bachelors degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related degree.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
