Who is Johnstone?

Johnstone Supply- New Jersey is a family-owned HVAC/R wholesale-distributor established in 1987. Currently there are 11 branch locations in Northern/Central/Southern New Jersey and in New York.

Job duties:

  • Recommend, create, manage, and maintain all written copy and graphic design assets, including video, products, print, for website, and digital.

  • Compose and execute email campaigns.

  • Maintains and executes marketing calendar and strategy to drive and implement effective marketing campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand image and alignment with company goals.

  • Continually develop fresh ideas aligned with company objectives and work across departments to sell strategies and initiatives internally.

  • Play a pivotal role in contributing to strategic direction, driving product positioning and customer segmentation decisions to resolution, and executing marketing initiatives.

  • Work closely with inventory and product management team to identify product/category market requirements; positioning and promotion of products/categories/market segments.

  • Regularly report market insight as well as new and emerging trends, tactics and best practices within marketing, and detail how they can be implemented to benefit Johnstone Supply.

  • Drive execution of initiatives with marketing team through appropriate pathways.

    A bit about you:

  • You're customer obsessed.

  • You've completed a college/university program in marketing or related field.

  • We all know there’s nothing quite like real life experience and it’d be great if you have 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in content, marketing, or similar field.

  • You have a working knowledge of sales, business and marketing processes with an ability to contribute to planning and strategic thinking.

  • Comprehensive graphic design experience and skilled with Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Strong computer skills that include Microsoft suite and reporting software, business intelligence, web analytics tools.

  • Strong social media knowledge, email, and video concepting and creation background.

  • Demonstrated success in working with/influencing cross-functional teams.

  • You’re focused, disciplined and super organized with high level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation.

  • You’re able to maintain momentum on our big picture goals and projects and also jump into day to day tasks.
