KPEDD Administrative Support and Community Coordinator
KENAI PENINSULA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (KPEDD) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Office Support Staff to join our dynamic team. As a non-profit organization, KPEDD strives to promote economic growth and development in the Kenai Peninsula region. With our commitment to fostering a vibrant business community, we provide various services and support to local businesses and entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and providing exceptional customer support in relation to business processes and networks.
- Demonstrating proficiency in business management to efficiently handle administrative tasks and ensure smooth operation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Utilizing computer skills to perform data entry, maintain records, and generate reports. Adobe, Microsoft Office, Excel, Kumu, Quickbooks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify trends and insights from data.
- Customer service oriented with a team player mindset
- Conducting research on relevant topics, funding opportunities and staying updated on industry trends for informed decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively coordinate various tasks.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred for light accounting tasks.
- Pleasant disposition and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Capable of independently handling responsibilities while also collaborating with colleagues.
- Willingness to perform on-site building maintenance tasks as directed.
- Collaborative work environment and willingness to contribute to a team oriented atmosphere.

Hours: 35-40/week, some added flexibility; upon hire, an employee will complete a 90 day probationary period prior to permanent full time status. Pay: Hourly, DOE, starting at $25 hour
