For our site in Delft (Netherlands), we are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for financial, administrative and clerical responsibilities that drive significant impact to the organization. This position is part of our Hydro business unit located in Delft and will be hybrid, with three days onsite each week.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Maintaining accounts payable using accounting software (Infor LN) and other programs
Preparing and processing batches of PO (three-way match) and Non-PO invoices
Analyzing workflow processes, ensuring compliance to guidelines and standards set by company procedures
Work with procurement department to resolve invoice discrepancies
Prepare payment batches
Reconcile and verify monthly vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Assist in month end close and audit activities
Other activities supporting the accounting and finance team, as needed
The essential requirements of the job include:
2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role
1-3 years of experience working in Excel, pivot tables and formulas
Fluent in English and German
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
