We are on a journey to develop an enterprise-scale, federated GraphQL service that will power all of our customer experiences. Whether the customer is online using our award-winning web and mobile applications, on the phone with our legendary Customer Care Professionals, or reaching us through Alexa, our GraphQL service will provide all the data and functionality needed at the point of customer contact. Fast, secure, real-time, and seamlessly integrated.
We don’t box our engineers in. You will have an opportunity to work on every facet of our GraphQL service including:
Building federated GraphQL servers and gateways on cloud
Domain discovery and GraphQL API design
Integrating with data services to move data quickly, reliably and securely
Building shared tools, frameworks and libraries to make it easy to build and use our service

Technical skills:
Kotlin or Java (you’ll have an opportunity to learn new languages in the role, for example Javascript)
Spring Boot and Webflux desirable, but not essential
Exposure to GraphQL desirable, but not essential
Exposure to CI/CD practices
Exposure to Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
A BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline is desirable but not essential
Proven experience of building great software that solves real business needs
Aptitude and willingness to overcome challenges, take risks, experiment, and adapt quickly
Self-motivated and collaborative
