About the role

The Client Consultant oversees a variety of research initiatives used in the development of our manufacturing client's real estate portfolio planning deliverables.

This job is included in the Client Consulting function and responsible for Advisory services in relation to real estate operations and investments. The ideal candidate is a polished real estate professional with client facing experience, strong data analysis skills, and a strategic mentality to lead the client's portfolio planning.

What you’ll do

Review financial information and additional data for a range of deliverables provided by team. Examples include market plans, process improvements, management practices, and business unit communications.

Study fiscal impact of real estate transactions using net present value analysis, internal rate of return (IRR), and company and or client-specific processes.

Present research on industry standard process and benchmarks to the client and develop strategic real estate plans.

Work with cross functional internal teams to meet the business unit’s real estate requirements. Suggest initiatives to reduce cost and improve value for the client's portfolio. Aid with real estate-related communications for senior client representatives.

Develop reports to encourage optimization across many activities. Examples include organizational design, process improvement, and management practices.

Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

Coach others and share knowledge of own job subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Work within broad guidelines and policies while explaining complex and/or sensitive information.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate license, as required by the State.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Data visualization software experience (i.e. Power BI, Tableau) is desired.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
