Responsibilities
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for the delivery of safe patient and provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The duties and responsibilities of this CMA include, but are not limited to:
assisting physicians with patient care
clerical, environmental and organization tasks
responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management
provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services
conveys a positive image of our clinic
the hours are Mon - Fri, 8:00a - 4:30p
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Medical Assistant School or Vocational Training
Medical Assistant Certification
minimum one year work experience in public contact job
work experience in health care, preferred
current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
