Stryker Field Inventory Analyst in Kalamazoo, Michigan
What you will do-
We are seeking a highly analytical Field Inventory Analyst to drive process improvements and supply chain excellence within our division’s field-based organization. This role requires leveraging data-driven insights and metrics to reduce inventory exposure and liability, forecast field inventory demand, reduce backorders, reduce logistic costs of inventory movement, and to optimize field inventory management and influence Field Technician and Sales personnel to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Process field inventory orders using advanced analytical tools to assess current inventory levels, historical use data, and forecasted demand
Calculate and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Days in Inventory, to optimize field inventory levels and improve turnover rates
Evaluate consignment inventory requests by integrating input from sales, marketing, compliance and finance, ensuring alignment with overall inventory strategies
Assist with field operations budgeting and achieving cost of service targets by guiding the Supply and Field teams based on region-specific service data and inventory metrics
Develop and deliver comprehensive field operation training materials, focusing on inventory management best practices and analytical methodologies
Communicate regularly with the field teams through detailed reports and presentations on inventory metrics, goal attainment, and optimization strategies
Build and maintain productive relationships with Service/Sales Directors, Regional Managers, Technicians, and other office personnel to support collaborative inventory management
Create, implement, and field analytical tools and dashboards to the field aimed at improving operational efficiency and decision-making
What you will do-
BA/BS degree - required (preferred major in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field)
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, PRMS, etc.)
1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management - preferred
$58,700.00 - $106,200.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
