What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will take on a crucial role in enhancing equipment performance and ensuring manufacturing efficiency. You will provide both reactive and proactive technical engineering support, focusing on maintaining continuous operations, optimizing processes, and improving equipment reliability. This role will support non-standard shift manufacturing operations including nights and weekends.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to solve problems of moderate scope and complexity under general supervision.

  • Provide technical support for daily operations, including troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, and equipment performance metrics.

  • Own and manage equipment in the CMMS, including work orders, PM strategies, and spare parts management.

  • Collaborate with engineering staff to develop and enhance maintenance strategies and reliability assessments.

  • Support non-standard shift manufacturing operations, including nights and weekends as needed.

  • Lead equipment improvement projects and participate in multi-functional discussions to address complex challenges.

  • Document processes, write technical reports, and present findings to management and cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support manufacturing/quality systems such as deviations, equipment qualification, process validation, and CAPA management.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & 2 years of Engineering and/or Manufacturing support experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment, particularly in pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.

  • Proficiency in reliability engineering concepts (RCA, preventive maintenance).

  • Strong organizational and technical writing skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.

  • Experience with CMMS systems, ideally MAXIMO.
