About Joliet
The ExxonMobil Joliet Refinery is located about 40 miles southwest of Chicago in Channahon, Illinois. Residents of the area have access to many local activities, from shopping, dining and museums, to golf courses, parks, trails and auto racing events. Add to these the many opportunities the Chicago metropolitan area, or “Chicagoland,” has to offer, the Joliet Refinery makes a desirable work location.
The Joliet Refinery is the second newest refinery in the United States and will celebrate its 50th year in 2022. As the center of ExxonMobil’s Midwest integrated operations, it include pipelines, lubes production, distribution and fuels marketing. The refinery is one of the most energy efficient in the Unites States and processes nearly 250,000 barrels of crude per day into gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel, asphalt and other products.

What role you will play in our team
The Supply chain lead Provides additional leadership in areas of shipping and receiving, inventory Management and meeting all SC control requirements
The job involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and some heavy lifting and equipment operations.
Work schedule is days with occasional shift work including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Job located at the Joliet Refinery, Joliet, IL.
What you will do
Safely perform duties with strict adherence to procedures, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and company policy.
Ownership of personal safety and safety of co-workers and community.
Manage and schedule contractor labor to perform Supply Chain functions including remote inventory yard materials.
All aspects warehouse material management.
Use hand and power tools.
Operate all power lift equipment, including but not limited to forklifts.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Possess valid drivers’ license.
Currently possess or be able to qualify for a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Able and willing to work shift work, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
Desire and ability to be a strong leader in safety.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient Computer skills, Microsoft, Inventory management software (SAP knowledge a plus).
Strong Communication skills.
Proven warehouse experience managing material Inventories.
Knowledge of material, piping/ valves, electrical and machinery parts a plus.
Forklift experience: Able to unload flatbed and box trucks and trailers at dock and in the field.
