Job Summary

To maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and productivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to ensure all machines and equipment are in good running condition and ready for production use. Daily support to Operation for machine or equipment break down.

  • Responsible to ensure that TPM is conducted (Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly etc) for all machines and equipment to production technicians.

  • Responsible to ensure that spare parts and consumables of the machines and equipment are available to prevent any long break down.

  • Perform a multi-disciplined technical tasks to deliver incremental improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

  • Maintain and record equipment data and history records to predict maintenance machine.

  • Perform electrical related tasks in order to comply with Malaysia Power Grid Department of Malaysia known as Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)’s requirements.

  • Serve as in-house consultant to develop technical specification for modification and improvement related to facility and equipment (F&E).

  • Coordinate with various stakeholder for general waste and scheduled waste collection and disposal.

  • Perform energy saving activity once facility in steady state and operational mode

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

  • Able to read and write in English.

  • Experience in logistics/warehouse field.

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised and as part of a team.

  • Good problem solving skills.

  • Knowledge in SAP is added advantage.

  • Knowledge/experience in Dangerous Goods handling.

  • Experience in a similar role within the aviation industry, preferably in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility or aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • Valid forklift license.

  • An appreciation for the HSE requirements of working in a warehousing/logistics environment.
