As a Technical Support Representative, you will provide technical end-user desktop computer support as needed. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and network issues under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high quality telephonic technical support and problem resolution to customers each day

  • Providing technical support in a manner that meets or exceeds defined department objectives to protect and increase LexisNexis revenues.

  • Initiating the escalation process for unresolved customer problems.

  • Utilizing skills from training, education, experience, or certifications to fulfill their daily responsibilities.

  • Assisting with account related issues, including ID/password assistance, billing/invoice support, and other general account related services.

  • Working in a team environment to maximize individual and team performance.

Requirements

  • Have a Bsc in Computer Sciences and experience in a technical field.

  • Have software support experience (technical troubleshooting and usability support).

  • Have similar job related experience.

  • Have proven record of technical support including software, hardware, and enterprise systems

  • Able to adapt and multi-task to support incoming calls, email, chat, etc.

  • Able to quickly understand key terms and phrases to apply appropriate troubleshooting techniques.

  • Able to work with difficult customers and diffuse frustrating situations.

  • Able to work Eastern standard time zone.
