Aerotek Equipment Mechanic in Jessup, Maryland
Job Title: Equipment Mechanic
We are seeking a mid-high level Equipment Mechanic with experience in working with Diesel Pumps, Small-Mid Sized Generators, Excavators, Rollers and various small to mid sized Construction Equipment. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, triaging, inspecting, and repairing units. Tasks include changing alternators, batteries, compressors, starters, fuel pumps, and performing injector work on up to 4 cylinder motors. The role also involves working with pneumatics and air tools.
Parts Department: Our parts staff are trained, to ensure that you get the service support and the parts you really need. They will be happy to assist you in locating any part you require from our manufacturers. We stock the largest selection of replacement parts in the area for quick turnaround.
Service Department: Our mechanics receive ongoing factory service training. Equipment repairs are warranted against defects in parts and workmanship

Work Environment
The successful candidate will be working in a shop environment and will often need to go into the yard to get pumps.
Training on forklift and overhead cranes will be provided. This role requires a team player who is willing to perform various tasks around the shop.
