Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities What to expect Responsible for opening and securing the facility. Oversee concession operations and digital motion picture presentations during assigned shift. Ensures auditorium, concession area, and restrooms are clean prior to patrons arriving. Operates a Point of Sale (POS) to sell movie tickets, concession products, and other related items. Responsible for open and closing of safe, daily deposits, completion of daily and routine reports. Operates and maintain digital motion picture projecting equipment and sound reproducing equipment to produce coordinating effects on screen. Ensures the scheduled movies are ready to be shown and projection and sound equipment are in good working order prior to the start time of each showing. Perform routine preventative maintenance on projector, troubleshoot errors, and make minor adjustments as needed. Operates a government vehicle to transport supplies and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance. May be required to climb multiple flights of stairs throughout each shift. Performs other related duties as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications What are we looking for? A minimum of one year experience in customer service related area. Knowledge of sales, cash handling, POS operations, inventory principles. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Programs, (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), internet research and general personal computer operation. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to complete and maintain Food Handling certification. Must have basic business mathematics skill. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
