Kelly Services Process Technician in Jacksonville, Florida

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17.75

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-6:30pm with some OT and Rotating Weekends

What’s a typical day as a Process Technician? You’ll be:

• Monitor tote flow and clears jams to ensure order flow to the pack station area.

• Report performance against goals daily, weekly, and monthly.

• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining daily operations.

• Responsible for workflow production, training of new employees on covered jobs, answering job-related questions in one or more areas.

• Demonstrate accurate following of directions and simple procedures.

• Pick products from Vertical Storage Unit (VSU) and Pick to Light (PTL) units and place product into trays. Places boxes in magazine chute (Box Dropper)

• Scan product and place product into box and flex bag orders.

• Fill A-Frame channels with product, retrieve and return cases to flow racks.

• Pick products from Perfect Pick units and Pick-to-Light (PTL) and place product into trays or totes.

• Retrieve product to fulfill incomplete orders to be shipped the same day.

• Verify orders prior to boxing and labeling for shipment.

• Enforce workplace safety & 5S policies & procedures to keep the work are clean, neat, and organized.

• Operate a cherry picker going up to heights of 25 feet

• Other related duties may be required.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• High school diploma or Equivalent (Required)

• A minimum of one 1 year work experience and/or training required with outstanding,

attendance record.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple written and/or verbal instructions and emails.

• Ability to learn from directions, observations and mistakes, and apply correct procedures using good judgement.

• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

• Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• Working knowledge of basic features of word processing programs, electronic mail, and internet web browsers.
