Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician
Location: West Side Jacksonville
Job Type: Full-Time - 45-55 hours per week

Job Description:
Responsible for setting up and adjusting various sizes of dies into stamping presses to ensure parts are produced within specification. Perform any necessary die adjustments at set ups and to check accuracy during production. Also, configure, adjust and operate automatic or semi-automatic presses and mechanical equipment. Be able to perform PM, s on other various machines
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that all dies are pre-staged at the press and set properly.
Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, oiling, and lubricating machines.
Collaborate closely with the Die Shop, providing necessary information to toolmakers for accurate die diagnosis and repair.
Set up and operate presses, which may be mechanically or computer-driven, to produce parts.
Monitor machine operations and report any faults to the supervisor.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide seamless customer service.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in their implementation.
Perform preventative maintenance on all other equipment in the plant as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
