We are in search of a Assistant Cook within our growing organization:
Assists Cook with meal preparation as directed and prepares meals in Cook’s absence.
Prepares puree foods ensuring appropriate consistency and temperature.3. Prepares and takes nourishments to nurses stations.4. Assists with tray preparation checking for completeness and accuracy according to menuand diet preferences.5. Assists with dish room responsibilities including scraping, washing and putting away dishes6. Assists with cleaning kitchen including mopping, cleaning walls and equipment.7. Receive and store groceries and supplies as directed.8. Checks menus, copies menus and makes production sheets according to select menuand resident census, if applicable.9. Ensure proper storage of raw and left over foods.10. Perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions and sanitarysafety infection control policies and procedures,11. Assist the Food Service Director and/or Dietitian as necessary and implementrecommended changes as required.
