We are looking for an Associate Director - Reinsurance Technical Accounting Team
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk as a member of the Reinsurance team in the İstanbul office.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bchelor of Science or Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business administration, Insurance, or other relevant departments of a reputable university
Excellent knowledge of English language
Having 8 years of experience in the finance or technical accounting departments of insurance or brokering firms will be an asset
Preferably has a working knowledge of technical insurance accounting or at least eager to learn
Preferably has advance knowledge and experience of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Hardworking, accurate, result-oriented, open to learning, team player
Has analytical thinking, brainstorming, and problem-solving skills
Has creative/innovative approach and self-confidence
Job Description
Performing technical analysis of accounts and system controls, month end reporting and reconciliations
Following brokerage and premium collections and payments by means of systematic reports and reconciliations with counterparts
Preparing regular analysis reports to follow up business performance in respect of business lines (facultative and treaty)
Booking and allocation fiduciary movements.
Performing regular benchmark analysis of actual figures in comparison to budget of business lines
Managing written and verbal communications with the clients abroad
