Citigroup Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Identify and compile data sets using SQL, SAS, R, Python to help predict, improve, and measure the success of business outcomes. Understand data structures, data definitions, and unique identifiers in data sets, including Big Data. Merge multiple datasets using languages tools such as SQL, SAS and Python, Extract and summarize the compiled data sets. Analyze data, structured, and unstructured to identify trends and patterns to answer business questions and aid strategic decision-making. Summarize data using statistical and non-statistical measures. Identify trends in the data to establish correlation and causation. Identify connections between the trends in data and key business questions that need to be answered. Conduct predictive modeling using statistical and machine learning techniques to help answer business questions and inform strategic decisions. Identify predictive techniques that can answer business questions. Develop predictive models using the appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., linear regression, logistic regression). Summarize the results of the predictive model by assessing its performance measures and improvement it provides in decision-making. Document and explain results of data analysis, trend identification, and predictive modeling in a clear, concise way for non-technical audience. Develop documents summarizing the results of the analysis, explaining the purpose of the analysis, the methodology used, the findings and the recommendations. Connect the results to the key business questions and outcomes, with focus on relevance for marketing and digital product decisions. Explain to business stakeholders and management how the analysis improves or aids decision-making. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics, Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Data Scientist, Decision Scientist, Pricing Analyst, Predictive Analyst, Modeler, Engineer or related position involving data analytics. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: SAS, SQL, and Python to extract and analyze data; Data mining and Predictive Analysis; Building data models using modeling techniques logistic regression and linear regression to analyze data.
