Who You Are and the Impact You Will Have:

The PLM/MDM Operations Manager will drive tool and process implementation for the Development Procurement team. This role will establish Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities for Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment.  This role will partner within the Development Procurement functional teams, the QTS IT Business Support Services team, and the Accounting/Fixed Assets team.

What You Will Do:

  • Successfully establish a PLM capability for OFCI equipment, from item and BOM creation through procurement, deployment, service and maintenance, and final decommissioning.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish a part number creation process, define form-fit-function requirements, and create change management processes.

  • Lead Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing development to properly relate and define equipment sets against qualified design standards.

  • Establish processes for MDM control and maintenance.

  • Collaborate with QTS IT BSS to architect and implement systems, tools, and integrations to drive automation and efficiency.

  • Effectively execute on team and business deliverables

  • Coordinate business process documentation and improvement strategies with internal stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.

  • Establish business metrics to monitor and improve PLM performance.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 10 or more years of previous PLM operations experience.

  • PLM systems implementation or migration experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related technology field, or equivalent professional experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience developing PLM solutions for OFCI equipment sets (back-up generators, electrical switchgear, mechanical systems).

  • Experience establishing transformational PLM capabilities in a start-up environment.

  • Understanding of a PLM systems role in, and dependencies with, the larger ERP supply chain ecosystem.

  • Familiarity with Procore, eBuilder, and ServiceNow.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of PLM systems.

  • Experience supporting systems implementation projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate across stakeholder teams.

  • Skilled in devising effective solutions to problems.

  • Self-motivated, able to work on a team and independently.

  • Quick learner, intellectually curious with high sense of urgency.
