Rush Enterprises Parts Supervisor in Irving, Texas

The Parts Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees, is engaged in all parts operations, and assists in the management of the parts department under the direction of the Parts Manager and/or General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling employees as needed to cover the requirements for daily operations.

  • Manage the parts retail sales area as needed, and ensure the area is stocked, clean, uncluttered, and priced.

  • Issue purchase orders as needed and accounts for all invoices/packing slips against the purchase order. Insure proper billing prior to submitting to Centralized Purchasing a minimum of twice per week.

  • Assume the responsibility to be a liaison between operations and corporate “Centralized Purchasing” under the direction or in the absence of the parts manager.

  • Manage daily cycle counts and verifies counts, insuring that cycle counts are conducted a minimum of twice weekly.

  • Verify and correct any discrepancies to inventory counts including cycle count verification, and posting errors.

  • Assist on the front counter, rear counter, and phone room in selecting required parts and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Six months’ experience supervising parts counter employees and maintaining parts inventory.

  • Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Minimum Pay Rate

USD $60,000.00/Yr.
