Eaton Corporation Senior FP&A Manager in Irvine, California

Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Senior FP&A Manager to join our team. This is a Hybrid role that can be based at any of the following Eaton FED sites:Irvine, CA, Beltsville, MD, Jackson, MI, Glenolden, PA, Beachwood, OH Rumford RI, and Bethel, CT.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Primary Function:

  • The Sr. FP&A Manager will be responsible for consolidated financial statement forecasting, reporting, and analysis, enabling strategic decision-making for the organization. The role will be key to driving transformation and next level thinking across the organization. This individual will be a key interface with the Aerospace senior leadership team, supporting executives with reporting and analysis and interfacing with sites. This manager will join a dynamic and engaged team of Finance leaders and will be located at an Eaton Aerospace facility.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the FED Director of Finance and FED leadership team

  • Drive continuous improvement and transformation activities within FP&A across the Division and Aerospace business

  • Build effective relationships with a global finance team and a global Division leadership team to drive performance

  • Lead preparation of consolidated forecasts and budgets, analyzing trends in sales, profit, SG&A and R&D expense, capital and inventory. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual financial forecasting and reporting for consolidated Division financial statements.

  • Manage monthly budget vs actuals reporting and present insightful variance analytics, risks and opportunities for the senior leadership team. Prepare and deliver executive presentations.

  • Provide consolidated KPI reporting and analysis in areas such as headcount, economics, savings, amongst others

  • Develop long term financial modeling, forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision making

  • Change Champion and Subject Matter Expert for FP&A Tranformation Pillar initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Related field

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting,

  • Minimum of two (2) years driving/leading FP&A processes

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of an Eaton FED site in the following locations: Irvine, CA, Beltsville, MD, Jackson, MI, Glenolden, PA, Beachwood, OH, Rumford RI, and Bethel, CT will be considered.

  • Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of financial statements

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles

  • Attention to detail

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools preferred
