Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Level Three
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated level three Maintenance Electrician to perform advanced maintenance and repair tasks on electrical systems. Key duties include calibrating furnace controls, testing instruments, and chart recorders, as well as conducting furnace pre-surveys. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills working with electrical equipment and systems such as VFD's, burner systems, and VAR systems. They will also provide leadership and mentoring to level one and two maintenance electricians, and may be required to oversee licensed and contracted electrical work at the plant level.
Hard Skills
Replacing faulty electrical components of machines
Diagnosing and repairing or replacing faulty electronic components
Troubleshoot and maintain control systems
Knowledge about motor control
Installing power supply wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus for newly installed machines, equipment, and buildings
Connecting power supply wires to machines/equipment and connecting cables/wires between machines/equipment
Pushing buttons and pressing keys on controllers, teach pendant, and programmable controllers to program automated machinery to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs
Soft Skills
Leadership and mentoring
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Ability to oversee licensed and contracted electrical work at the plant level

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Irvine, California.
Work Environment
This position involves working in a plant environment and may involve physical activities such as lifting and moving equipment. The successful candidate will be required to monitor furnace status and light furnaces. They will also be expected to train and oversee electrical projects as directed by supervisory personnel.
