Actalent Analytical Chemist in Irvine, California

Description:

Medical Device client is looking to onboard a chemist that has experience working with HPLC analysis. Individual will be: Perform analytical Chemistry testing for different kinds of aldehyde solutions using HPLC system. Responsible for testing and data review, in compliance with company procedures Organize and carry out preparation of laboratory test reagents and standard solutions. Maintains and Trouble shoots HPLC equipment. Responsible for variety of routine and non-routine tasks including writing investigation reports, deviations, protocols, updating procedures Assist with lab equipment qualification and validation. Coordinates with other departments to support manufacturing demand. Effectively evaluates corrective and preventive actions for chemistry related concerns. Provide support for Microbiology functions as needed. Assist with coordination of external laboratories testing of samples Keeps lab work area clean, organized, and safe. Maintain appropriate documentation such as reports and lab notebooks
