Aerotek 2nd Shift Medical Device Assembler in Irvine, California
IMMEDIATE HIRRING FOR ASSEMBLY
Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. This position offers multiple openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts. Candidates must be flexible with their start times and be available to work up to 6 days a week.
Responsibilities
Assist with assembly of medical device catheters under the microscope.
Work at various types of work stations, including those requiring the use of a microscope for the entire day, standing for 8+ hours, and handling very small materials without visual aid.
Operate heating boxes and package completed products.
Potentially operate coil machines for catheter production if experienced in machine operating.
Learn and follow manufacturing procedures, line clearance procedures, and process documentation of completed work orders.
Essential Skills
Good manual dexterity.
Experience working with microscopes.
6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Medical device experience.
Familiarity with blueprints, production schematics, and hand tools.
Experience in cleanroom environments.

Work Environment
The position is in a cleanroom environment that heavily smells like rubbing alcohol. No jewelry, makeup, lotions, nail polish, or false nails are allowed. Candidates will be provided with a smock to wear over their clothing, rubber gloves, a cleanroom face mask, safety glasses, and a hairnet.
