Description
We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team based in Iowa City, Iowa. This role is an instrumental part of the accounting team, where you will be tasked with reviewing and processing a high volume of invoices, and conducting 3-way match. Additional tasks clerical tasks may be assigned to support the Accounts Payable department.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process company invoices accurately.
• Match invoices to corresponding vouchers
• Use MS Excel to maintain accurate records and track a large volume of data
• Implement corrective actions to fix issues during the first round of review.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable or experience supporting an accounting team is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records is essential.
• The candidate must possess strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The candidate should have strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
• The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The candidate should have the ability to work independently.
