ManpowerGroup Senior Accountant in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota
Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a well-known, respected organization in the agriculture industry , seeking a Senior Accountant in Inver Grove Heights, MN . This position is a 12-Month Contract with potential to extend and/or convert to permanent, pay ranging from $42-$47/HR + benefits , working a hybrid schedule , onsite 2 days a week.
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077
Schedule: Hybrid (onsite Tues & Weds), Mon-Fri, Normal Business Hours
Pay Range: $42 - $47 hourly + benefits
Contract: 12-Month Contract Duration, possibility of extension and/or conversion to permanent
Job Responsibilities:
Review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, including providing review comments to staff on improvements and ensuring completeness and accuracy of data and that documentation is proper and up to standard of external audit review.
Implement process improvements and building robust purpose and procedure documentation.
Some preparation of certain journal entries and account reconciliations. We would like someone who is versatile and can easily step in where asked whether it is preparation, review, or a project/process improvement.
Qualifications:
7+ years experience in accounting including review and approval of journal entries and account reconciliations
Strong Excel skills is a must.
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred experience with one (or more): SAP, Agris, or Blackline is a plus
