JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Injection Molding process in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment.
Working independently on processes and troubleshooting current production issues relating to molded part quality.
Monitoring and reporting issues with the injection molding process; responsible for completing daily standard work to maintain current processing and quality.
Documenting new and existing processes;
Perform DOE and establish new processing windows for plastic parts.
Provide technical communication to other process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.
Maintain process documentation to ensure that parts meet company and part print expectations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years of experience operating injection molding process equipment
Formal education, regular seminar attendance, or RJG Master Molder I Certification or Associate Degree in a related injection molding technical preferred
