ACS currently has PT and FT Direct Care | | Professional positions available. Expectations for the DCP position | | are driven by the organization's focus towards assisting individuals | | identify andachievetheir vision for their best life. As a member of | | the ACS family, the candidate would be expected to manage, | | facilitate, assist, and support individuals with daily needs while | | adhering to required organization policies and procedures for those | | receiving services from ACS in attempt to ensure services being | | rendered meet the satisfaction of the individual served and are | | delivered within established compliance standards. | | | | Responsibilities and Duties: | | | | - Be at least eighteen (18) years of age | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - Provide personal care services with a positive attitude and | | sincere mutual respect for an individual | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - Learn, understand, retain, and implement individualized service | | plans to assist with daily living skills including but not | | limited to assistance with transfer, bathing, toileting, feeding, | | housekeeping, personal errands, community outings, medical | | appointments, emergency response, etc. in attempt to help | | individuals achieve a safe, happy, and fulfilling life | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - Successfully complete agencys new-hire orientation as well as | | other?specified trainings as required and assigned | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - Some travel required | | | | {=html} | | | | | | - PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Must be able to perform physical | | activities including but not limited to lifting, walking, | | standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, | | pushing, pulling, reaching, and sitting, as well as other basic | | physical activities. The applicant must have fine manipulat on | | ability of both hands. The applicant must occasionally lift | | and/or move individuals of any weight, with or without | | assistance, utilize adaptive equipment as required, utilize | | Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and manage and maintain all | | required equipment properly and effectively.
