Our Branch General Managers focus on achieving excellence across multiple areas, including employee engagement and satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty, and meeting shareholder commitments. We are currently searching for a Branch General Manager to lead, manage, and oversee strategy, sales, and operational activities for our Indianapolis, IN branch. Why is this role so important? Our Branch General Managers are the face of Siemens and liaison to the external market, leading the implementation of Smart Infrastructure strategies for our building automation, fire, and security businesses in collaboration with the zone management team.
As a Branch General Manager, you will provide:
Strategic Leadership:
Collaborate with Zone management to implement Smart Buildings strategy and Business Target Agreements, ensuring alignment with financial objectives
Champion profitable growth through team-selling strategies with existing customers and new accounts, expanding the Smart Building business
Financial Management:
Provide accurate orders, revenue, and profit forecasts, meeting annual budget requirements
Lead all aspects of cost control, asset management, and financial results at the branch level
Customer Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with major customers, maximizing opportunities, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting ongoing projects and service contracts
Act as a company representative and liaison to customers and local authorities to capitalize on local market opportunities
Workforce Development:
Oversee workforce utilization planning for sales, service operations, and support functions, ensuring effective staffing for current and future business needs
Foster employee engagement, safety, and career development, promoting positive employer branding and Siemens' reputation
Compliance and Governance:
Ensure compliance with all federal and local regulations applicable to the geographic area, as well as all company policies and procedures
Support compliance protocols under the Siemens Compliance Officer
Operational Excellence:
- Advise the implementation of Branch sales and operations solutions, services programs, workflow standards, quality, productivity, safety programs, and standard methodologies
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (or related field) from an accredited institution
5+ years’ sales and/or operational management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and direct team toward the achievement of a common goal within the building automation industry
P&L management experience with demonstrated results in delivering performance to budget
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
Sales and/or operational management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and direct team toward the achievement of a common goal within the commercial fire alarm and/or security systems industry

The pay range for this position is $118,700 - $203,600 / year and the annual incentive target is 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
