Location: Plymouth, IN * * SCOPE: This position will report directly to the Quality Assurance Food Safety Manager and indirectly to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for performing hourly control tests and inspections of random samples of finished product. * Pay:* * Starting at $21.81 /hr overnight shifts have additional shift differential * Bi-weekly pay * $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates * Total Rewards:* * Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, & Vision) starting day 1 * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Paid Time off * Shifts:* * Day shifts available/ Night Shift available * 12 hours shifts (6am-6pm OR 6pm-6am) * 2-2-3 schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. Working 3-4 days/week (One week: Sun, Wed, Thurs Next week: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat). * ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Checking of: o Oven exits moisture. o Finishing moisture o Salt contents o Color o P.H. o Count per pound. o Breakage o Length o Bag and label checks. o Case count checks o Bag weight checks. o Percent Filling * Metal detection checks as required. * Monitoring of Critical Quality Control Points * Perform pre-op inspections. * Calibration of quality equipment * Assist supervisors withhold procedure. * Sanitation of lab and equipment. * Enter test results into computer as required. * QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:* * Sample Preparation, Sample Analysis per Test protocols, Basic Math, and Literacy Skills * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
